This is a $5 table I bought at a garage sale and spray painted aqua blue. I tiled the top with glass tile from Michael's and used a light neutral grout
Here is a nightstand that I LOVE! I got it at an estate sale for $35, but the light blonde wood just didn't go. I sanded it down, primed it, and painted it glossy white with a glossy polyurethane top coat. I just reused the handle by painting it aqua blue. It's an old piece but has some Jonathan Adler flair!
This chair was found at an estate sale for $5! It was so perfect for my cousin's bedroom that had circles on her bedspread, sheets, and in her bathroom. I spray painted it purple, and re-covered the seat cushion with more foam and fabric I found at JoAnn for $9.99/yd.

I refinished a large dresser my dad had since the early 80's that looked a lot like the photo below, and made it more shabby chic in flat light blue with new brushed nickel and clear hardware.
The dresser below was found for $40 at a thrift store and was painted all brown. I re-painted it in a "grellow", added two new knobs from Anthropologie, and hand-painted the chrysanthemum pattern on each side in varying shades of teal to green.
